The chroma-key technique was used to open an improvisatory place in which to explore the psychological tension between two people and the precariousness of self. Identities fuse, refuse, confuse and suffuse each other as disappearance and re-appearances force the participants to struggle with both an acceptance and rejection of the inevitable outcome of the process. The dialogue and reactions were spontaneous, not discussed beforehand and the film was made in one take. It was originally edited in various ways to different lengths, the full version being 15’32”. This version is 7’24”.
