This meaningless but atmospheric title was lifted by Anne Bean from William Lee’s ‘Junkie’ and is the heading for a composite performance of artists brought together by P. D. Burwell.”



P. D. Burwell, Cris Cheek, Anne Bean, Carlyle Reedy, Bob Cobbing and Steve Cripps worked together in various combinations in performances referencing the Beat Generation who celebrated non-conformity and spontaneous creativity, experimentation in all aspects of living and levels of consciousness, an interest in Eastern spirituality and a rejection of mainstream Western values.
