Futures
I was invited to make a work relating to ‘Futures of Live Art’ in response to a project Histories and Futures of Live Art in the UK, commissioned by LADA, Live Art UK and ACE
As a part of the ensuing film Futures, edited with Alex Eisenberg, I commissioned several Zambian artists to make films, as well as having recorded conversations with them on zoom. I also included works from Come Hell or High Water and from The Light of Day. I saw numerous pointers in these projects that embody positive, relevant trajectories towards future strategies for Live Art. By briefly focusing on each of these voices, the film developed into an interconnected incantation creating potential pointers to ways of living across both life and art.
