This film began as a dialogue with my friend since birth, Jeanette Iljon. The film recomposes Iljon’s avant-garde, feminist and social activist film works made in the 1970s/80s alongside our long-term friendship. It was shot and edited with Alex Eisenberg and has been selected for several film festivals including International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, Hamburg Short Film Festival and The Fine Arts Film Festival/Venice Institute of Contemporary Art. It was screened at LUX, London with a dialogue afterwards with Alex Eisenberg and Benjamin Cook, the founder director of LUX.
